Why there is no contact form

A form would mean collecting and storing your message on a server, with the data protection duties that brings. Email keeps the site simple: nothing you type into a calculator ever leaves your browser, and a message only exists in the mailbox it was sent to.

Reporting a wrong answer

It helps if you include:

Which calculator you were using — the page address is useful
The values you entered, with their units
What the site showed, and what you expected instead
Where your expectation comes from, if you have a reference

Every calculator states the formula and the assumptions behind it, which is usually the quickest way to see whether a difference is a mistake or just a different convention. Confirmed mistakes are fixed in the calculation code and its tests.

Questions about your data

The same address handles any request about your personal data. The privacy policy explains what the site does and does not process, and what you can ask for — and the cookies and local storage page lists everything the site stores in your browser.

What to expect

Velorsen is maintained by one person in their own time. Replies can take a while, and there is no support commitment — error reports and corrections are looked at first.
